Imma say the overall experience is solid, but it does come with some
things u should be aware of. His class is quite theory heavy. Midterm is
pretty chill, not that hard only 3 questions, really basic stuff like
access modifiers, static methods, UML, class extends, etc. But the final
exam this year was so hard I almost lost my A+ (that question 3 was so
ass, bro had me writing a whole company UML, like im not even getting a
paycheck chill blud).
He teaches in a way thats easy to
understand, but u need to come prepared. Bring your laptop, because he
will ask u to test code in class. Also remember to revise before each
lesson, since he may ask about knowledge from the previous one.
What
I personally like about him is that he doesnt just teach OOP. He shares
a lot of his own experience, and gives useful orientation for students
who are thinking about what path to follow in the future, whether its
software engineering, deeper CS, or AI.
What u will gain
- strong theoretical understanding of OOP
- clearer thinking about class design and structure
- useful insights and orientation for future career paths
What to consider
- theory heavy, and can feel dry at times
